JMO do NOT use spray adhesive (sp?) because it doesnt stick and it left a nasty residue on my rezzies when i took them off because it wasnt working

the 8.3 oz cans would probably fit like perfect, if you where wanting to do it. you can get rtv silicone and it should come off easily with some solvents

not a good idea. It will hold the heat in and why would you want to make your quad a billboard on wheels. If anything use monster or rockstar they actually support quad racing

i dont think that the shocks get that hot. and i think the red bull supports, just not as large as monster, idk for sure tho

will it be a problem if it holds the heat in?
it just looks cooler with red bull logo rather than a dull grey color.
monster and rockstar dont make 8.3 oz cans. red bull does and they fit perfectly

I have seen everything from coors light cans cut down to fit 250r's to the red bull and monster can covers
the red bull/monster small cans fit pretty good, and come in a few colors to complement your quad, (red bull, red bull low carb, green, blue, and red assault monsters)
some hold on with spray glue, some use hose clamps or zip ties
the cans are pretty thin aluminum that disipates heat pretty quick
more than anything its just another way to personalize your atv

my 400. one of the last pics i have of it, closest showing the rezzie.. i cut the tops and bottoms off, made it the perfect height of the rezzie. cut it down the middle so it could over lap itself, then i used zip ties to hold them on

NExt time you ride if you do ride or hard that is grab your rezzie after words its gonna be hot and everylittle bit of cooling helps when you have a high dollar shocks. Sure it looks cool but really whats the point and if you race I wouldnt recamend it the shock will over heat and start to fade!
And also Red Bull dosent have much suport a little bit in the MX side but that is it
But who cares monster tastes better:blah:

monster does taste better, red bull use to be a big sponsor in the x-games, but monster seems to be pushing harder

I would imagine it would be the same rule as shock covers. If the air temp outside is 70 and above take them off! Your definalty gonna loose shock preformance due to overheating the fluid. In the fall and winter im sure it would be fine for protection of some kind.
I for one dont like redbull tastes like battery acid...

thats wierd.. its been a while since ive even seen adrenaline rush drinks in stores now that i think about it
and i have my doubts on an aluminum can being strapped tightly to the resivoir is gonna cause any serious heat problems to shocks. no more than the clamp used to attach ur ressies to the frame...

To all those who think a can on a shock rezzie will make the shocks fade faster.. Do you have any idea how fast aluminum this thin would dissipate heat? If the cans are on there tightly, I doubt it would increase shock temperatures by a degree.

i can see eye to eye with this. if the cans were on there loosely, it might trap hot air between the can and rezzie. but the can alone is so thin when compared to the metal of the rezzie. i have yet to try this but i think i might just for kicks. im willing to take one for the team to test out shock fading with a paper thin can:p
