Ok, here is the deal. I have a 1993 Honda 300ex and just purchased a set of 2004 Honda 400ex plastics. I did some searching on here and everyone says that the rears will just latch right into place and the front fenders have to me modified. The fronts are no prob for me...a few "L" brackets and viola. The rears are where I am having trouble. I have a 400ex seat with it and it does not line up where the seat hooks over the rubber pieces. The mounts are wider than the 300ex seat. has anyone ever done this kind of conversion? If so, how did you do it? I figure I prolly need to cut the front seat "hooks" off and try to mount a different way, but I am not seeing anything to mount ot. Any help would be great.

You have to move the rubber mounts for the seat hooks for the rears to work.

Where do I move the rubber mounts to? It looks like they are in the right spot up and down, they are just not wide enough.

That is my prob, my 300ex back fender is all beat up and cracked. The 300ex seat will not work on the 400ex back fender.

I finished the body install a couple of months ago and forget that I posted this.
Here is the finished, or almost finished 300ex to 400ex plastics.
