For Sale or Trade....

http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd228/danhung11/000_0255.jpg

I was going to use these until I decided to build a XC-R. I have attached a pic of the same Arms mounted on my 1987TRX250R.

Parts that I am looking for:

9" Hipers - Honda Pattern
Billet Parts for TRX250R - kicker, brake pedal, waterpump cover...
Std Travel Fully Adjustable Shocks or TRX450R Stock Stocks
TRX250R Belly Skids
XC Tires 21" Fronts 20" Rears

If you think something you have will interest me, let me know or you can email pics to danhung11@gmail.com.

Note: You will need to purchase spacers kit from Walsh for TRX250R. I have the spacers for TRX400EX and Z400. The spacers are about $60... I think. The Arms are top notch. They sell new for over $1k.

Thanks,
Dan

Hey, you offered a trade on my front wheels, just wondering, how much money were you wanting along with my tires?

These would work awesome with TRX450R OEM Shocks...have them revalved and I think would ride nice if you are wanting to be economical. I am running Custom Axis Fully Adjustable - close to 16.75".

Here is a pic of my front end. I have 400EX shocks and some other White Borthers that I can do, but not letting go of the Custom Axis.

Shoot me a pic of what you got to danhung11@gmail.com.

I am confused.... You posted them as std travel shocks but the link you gave listed them as long travel using a 19" shock? So are they std or LT? If they are LT I have a set of PEP triple rates with rezzies in great shape I'd trade, but let me know.

You are reading the website incorrect. These are the same shocks on my other R. They use 16.5" shock. Std Travel.

Walsh named the arms Long Body. They made these in Std Travel and Long Travel. If you look at the lower shock mounts, they are above the arms. LT arm shock mounts are usually even with the lower arms or below.

Look at the pic again. As far as the PEP's....pics to danhung11@gmail.com and what are the measurements from e2e? What did they come off of? What are the valved/sprung for?

Very interested...

Thanks,
Dan

I cant find Walsh Long body a arms that are not LT any where on that site. Also, the picture listed for the LT ones show the shock mount above the lower arm. A LT arm would work with a shorter shock, just obviously less clearence. I am only looking for LT so if indeed they are std travel I wouldn't be interested in trading.

Also if you look under the trx450 long body a arm, they talk about a new shock mounting, and in that picture it shows the mount as you talked about. In that write up it says it uses a 1.5" longer shock.

These are the exact same arms that I have on my 87 as seen in the pics above. I don't understand the confusion.

THESE USE 16.5" SHOCKS....BOTTOM LINE.

I emailed you back. If those are 18" rears... I am not interested. Perhaps wheels only, but I could always order new Hipers. I am interested in 9" Dual Beadlocks.

Thanks,
Dan

I'll take a measurement on my TRX250R. They might be different.

Will advise.

For the LAST TIME

These are Walsh Race Craft STANDARD travel a-arms, they look similair to the Walsh long travel arms but I can assure everyone of you that these a-arms are setup to use a 16.5 - 17.0 inch shock

The only instance where these a-arms and a longer shock is used is on a Walsh Chassis (ie. CRF/YZF Hybrid chassis)

Danhung my offer stands on the hipers if you want to let the shocks go also, maybe would do a set of gibson long travels and hipers for a-arms and shocks? Let me know, thanks.

I am a phargin idiot! :o

Look at the pics attached...

The pictures indicate that these in fact are LT. Look at the spacing where the the shock mounts on the arm as compared to the same lower arm mounted on my R with the red frame. :cuss:

The arms mounted are Std travel and the ones unmounted are LT. I will sell either set, whichever you prefer.

Thanks Honda5 for pointing that out. They are the same upper arms if that matters....lol

For the last time... I have no idea where that came from...

You replied once stating that you wanted to trade Hipers AND the shocks for something... I plan to keep those Axis Shocks. I have other shocks that I am willing to part with. There is a set of GT Thunder Revalved TRX450R Shocks. If you have never rode on those, well worth the price. They will mount on the arms that I have on my Red Framed TRX250R. I will unmount the lower arms and get rid of them...

As far as for the Hipers only... I can get brand new single rears for $320 shipped (9") a pair. So, I think I would be a moron to do that.

What are you thinking?

Let me know. If you are interested in purchase or have something in mind let me know. I am looking for XC Wheels and Tires.
