How does a Cobra 50 compare speed wise to a stock Apex or DRR 90?

Like tring to compare apples to oranges two different classes and the apex and DRR are about 4000 dollars less to start

depends on the rider but pretty close to be honest.

Thx for the replies. I was just trying to figure out what I'm going to get him next. I just don't want him to bother with shifting.

You dont want the cobra for a 6 year old not the best chioce for some one just staring out and the 90 is a little much. I would first check the local track rules and go from there. I would say go with a DRR 50 that will be a good starter then when the child needs more power you can add the 70 top end and make it a 70 . this will take you a good 2-3 years on this
And if he still likes racing you can sell this one and buy the 90 or just get a 90 engine the frame is the same just a-arms are wider on the 90. Good luck to you .
