If you want to get in good with her......NO gift card....they want you to pay attention to what they wear/want, not just buying some stupid card that allows them to buy it. They want you to put thought and consideration into it.

But, thats just what my gf has told me.....I try to get gift cards to sears, then hope she forgets about it....lol......jk.

I have been married for 6 years and still freak out when shopping for Christmas. I have found the best thing to do is this....When she draggs you out shopping and mentions something is nice, but she wont buy it for herself because its too much or what not, you go out and buy it the next day. This doesnt even have to be at christmas time. Girls remember things they like, even from six months ago....

This works for me, because usually i refuse to go shopping, and if she makes me, i sit on a bench in the middle of the mall and just wait untill shes done. That means i only have to really pay attention on one shopping trip of the year.

lol....^^^ thats hilarious. I do the same, I'm that creepy guy sitting on the bench, alone, in the mall......while she is out shopping. haha.....

you couldn't have said it better really...Im not married but I ussually will follow my gf around the mall this time of year and she will hint just like what you said and thats when u just get it the next day and your done:macho... and really I would stay away from gift cards but the victoria secret one is a great idea hahah. But yeah girls like it when they think you put alot of thought into it, and not going out the easy way with a giftcard.

i dont currently have a girl friend but what i would want from them would be some good time with them. You cant buy that. I am sure that they would like the same

but if you have to buy gifts, just make sure you pay close attention to what they say they want or what they point out and you are set..if they dont say what they want.....your screwed!!! :blah:

Heres one.. and heres my 2 cents!

I would kill my boyfriend if he got me a gift card for underwear... and just to spite him I'd buy granny panties! lol j/k

but for real.... most girls don't want gift cards from their boyfriends. Gift cards are supposed to be for people you don't know well enough to buy a real gift for.. I spend alot of time thinking about what to get my boyfriend and if he were to get me a gift card, I would be really disappointed. Plus, honestly, what fun is a gift card on Christmas morning??

Most stores provide you with gift reciepts so if she really doesn't like what you get or it doesn't fit she can exchange it.

Its hard to say what to get, since I don't know how old she is, how much you want to spend, how long you have been together or what she likes....

Think about what stores she shops in and how much you want to spend on her, and go from there. Basically any gift that she can tell you put thought into is a good choice.

Jewlery is ALWAYS good. It doesn't have to be expensive either. There are good deals around this time, and you can get a nice ring or a necklace for under 100$.

I was thinking about getting her a necklace, but being a hick I have no idea what looks good for a girl. I'm looking to spend no more then 100 bucks, I'm extreamly broke and not trying to be an ***hole but I really can't afford to spend that much. :ermm: Any ideas?

Forget third base. If she likes Long Cut Copenhagen, are you sure she is in fact female?

I'd be careful. Third base might not be what you think it is!!!:eek2:

nothing too big or gaudy

White gold is my favorite (I wont wear any yellow gold) but I'd stick with whatever she normally wears.

Diamonds are always good..lol but maybe something with her birthstone (unless she doesn't like her birthstone - like mine is pearl and I wouldn't wear it)

What jewlery stores are near you? You can usually go on the website and there will be a link "gifts for her under 100"

One of my exs once got me a heart shaped locket with a picture of us in it. its a cute idea

Open up the quote link on a different page and copy and past it to the message.
