400ex Front Axle!

How would you widen the fron axle on a 400ex, i have the back wider than normal, but ythats how i bought it, do i just take to a pro? If so how much will it cost?

Well first of all the front of the bike has a arms.... :p Anyways well it all depends on how wide the rear is. Once you figure that out the BEST way to widen it is to get extended a arms and shocks. Kind of expensive but worth it IMO;)

aarms. you can buy aftermarket in different lengths. you should be able to put them on.

The 400ex has 2 front axles;)

But it is the a-arms & tie rods that will need to be replaced to make the front end wider. You may need longer brake lines too.
