08' 400ex plastic

what do you guys think the chances of the 08 plastic fitting on the olders years are.... if they did that would be awesome because i love the way the 08's look....

I just put 08 plastic on my 01 yesterday. Everything bolted up using the EXACT same mounts all i had to do was drill two holes in the front of the frame for the lower headlight bracket. It looks like it was meant to be!

I guess I didn't realize there was a differance between 06-07 and 08. I don't have pictures yet I'm waiting on my sidecovers because I didn't realize I was supposed reuse my old ones and they were faded and cracked up so I just ordered another set.

I put 06 plastics on my 03....everything bolted right on...no mods...but i left out the head light...

if you run a 99-04 and plan on swaping on 05-07 plastic and USING the headlight you need to buy the head light bracket and fabricate/weld on brackets to attach the bracket to as the 05-07 frames have these mounts welded on already

oldquadridr thats a good looking 400, id get red netting for the nerfs though



about using 08 plastics i think it would end up costing more then a set of aftermarkets cuse you would probably need an 08 fuel tank and seat,

Its not that big of a deal making brackets to bolt the plastic too. its just i love the look of the 08 400ex's.........possibly the best looking bike ever....in my opinion.....so basically i would just love to be able to get that plastic on a 99-04 model.....
