whats the best way to clean a cylinder along with the powervalve?

Oven cleaner and a scotch brite pad. Then clean it off with soap and water and put some oil on it to prevent rust.

Is it out of the bike? If so, I use a glaze breaker on a drill. They have three stones that spring out and put a nice crosshatch on your cylinder walls. Don't use the one with the balls all stuck together, because they can screw up the ports. You can buy them for $25 at Sears.

Use an expandable hone on 2 stroke cylinders and I'm not talking about the 3 legged spring loaded hones like the guy above me. Sunnen makes one, it's not cheap.

Or take it to your local auto machine shop, doesn't cost much.

I never had a problem with them. What's wrong?

i already had it honed im just saying to get all the gunk out and stuff.

There's no possibility of hooking a port opening. If you've had good luck with them, great, but I'd rather not chance a good bore with a huge scratch/gouge caused by a bound up hone. I think it's worth 10-20 bucks to pay someone.
