I'm selling this 2008 KTM525XC quad for $7500.00 firm. It is ready to ride. I raced it in two local cross country races and two GNCC's. The only modifications done to it are: FatBoy4 exhaust, swingarm skidplate, Regina o-ring chain, Sunstar rear sprocket, and larger pilot jet. Everything else is stock. I am not accepting any trades. I can help deliver this quad, and it is located in Essex, MD 21221. If you have any questions call 410-686-9694 M-F 11-7 and ask for me concerning the KTM for sale.

Other details: The left front fender has the mount holes blown out on it, but it has been attached with oversize washers. The right side footpeg has been raised slightly for more positive shifting. The rear brake pads fell out at the Powerline Park GNCC, and Tim Farr's mechanics fixed/replaced them during the race. The swingarm skidplate is bent up a bit, but still usable, and doesn't rub anything. This is the same quad that I jumped the Yadkinville creek jump on.

The FatBoy4 is a one piece pipe utilizing the stock headpipe.

How does the power compare to the YFZ or TRX450`S also how is handling?

Yes, I'll be on Duncan Hondas in 2008.

The KTM525XC is equal to my 450R with the Duncan National motor. The 525 is quite a handful to ride, and you need to be ready when you jam the throttle open exiting a turn. Its really a matter of getting used to the power delivery, and being in shape enough to ride it for 2+ hours. As far as the handling, I finished 31st overall at Yadkinville on bone stock suspension.
