Hey everyone!

Last weekend I blew out the sideway of my one of my front tires. I was desert riding and hit a rock at a good speed and it pinched it on the rim.

Now I’m wanting to replace them but want to get everyone’s opinion on what to get. I live in AZ so I will be riding desert terrain and I plan on running the Baja 250 next year. After some looking I was thinking about getting the ITP Holeshot HD or GNCC. The other tire I found was the Razr2.

Any help guys?

Any 6 ply tire is the best you can do without using tire balls.

Agreed any six ply tire. I like razr2s but regular razrs are available in 6 ply too

So are Razr's the way to go over ITP?

I'm running I-RAZR's in the desert and they work pretty well.

I would not get HD front tires, I'd get either razr2 fronts or GNCC's.

razr2 fronts and razr rears are a really popular setup from what i am seeing and reading on the forums.

After looking at the tires I went for the RAZR2's. They looked to be a much better tire.

I got ITP GNCC's on my 450r and they blow. 1 month and they were down about 20% tread. My wifes has the RAZR and they still look new and have better grip as well so since I run both of them I actually can see the difference. go with the RAZR's 6-ply. I just hate the ugly orange and red lettering.

i like hds its just the fact that they are a flat profile that makes them not as good for the 450s i had them on my predator and i race harescrambles they have been on there for 2 seasons not tubed and they have never popped and are still about 75% and i have moved from the c class to the a class on them so its not like i dont ride hard and the mey to tire life is not riding on the road but id go with gncc fronts and razor rears
