Any way to get it out without using a flywheel puller?

I've never tried to get it off w/o the puller. If you have access to a machine shop you could probably make your own. But honestly, a flywheel puller is a good investment if ya ask me. You can get them from trailtech for like $20.

just a question, will the flywheel puller for a 400ex work on a 450r?

i dont reccommend removing the flywheel without a puller. i've witness too many damaged as a result. the puller can be gotten from a number of places online for less than 20.00.

juss so you know. the puller is year specific. make sure you get the one for your year quad.

I would just get one from www.trailtech.net or somewhere else that has them for 450r's. The factory one will be alot higher priced.

bikebandit.com , denniskirk.com , rockymountainatv.com they all have them and they have them like he said 20.00 and less. just be patient and dont try taking it off w/o. You will damage something that will cost a lot more than the puller and take a lot longer to get if you dont wait.
