haha i had one that would do 35-40 til i blew the tranny out of it all you really need to change is the pullies to make it fast but there is plenty of other stuff you can do to make it handle and go a little bit faster, just before i broke mine i welded on a street bike pipe. quieted it down a little and got better flow sounded crazy

i say just get a bored and stroked briggs and straton motor. A guy down here has a go kart that started with a 5hp briggs and straton motor that is putting down 40rwhp now, no spray, all motor

me and a buddy of mine used to have some lawn mowers and we took the deck out from under it and used to go muddin and hill climbing and everything we wanted... them things had enought tourqe to do anything... fun fun... untill it flipped on top of me hitting a MX jump LMAO


for my little sinior project i think i'm going to built some sort of swamp buggy... have several feet of ground clearence, the best mud tires and some amazing soft suspension to crawl over logs and rock with a bad winch on the front... i'm pretty exited.. probably going to put some type of 4 wheeler motor in it with reverse? i wana build it good enough where i'll always have it and can take it anywhere

I'm thinking for a fun little design project put on some front a arms with some aftermarket used shocks, a swinger maybe of just the solid axle. Then to top it all off a nice 4 stroke quad motor. Whatever I can afford LOL. Oh yeah and A LOT OF STICKERS LOL LMAO:p :devil:

that would be awesome with a 450 quad motor on it.:eek2: it probly would be to uncontrolable. lol

Those are actually really good friends of mine. They happen to live about 3 houses down from me. The little racing tractors are custom built frames. I think its a briggs motor, as for horsepower Im not sure. I will get some details if you want. check out the myspace page

went to branson last year for a car show...long story short, you know the little bar stools with little motors on them? well some guy we know got V8 on one...by far the most crazy thing ive ever seen in my life...

we had a mower that would do 73. had a 2" pulley on the transmission and a 7" on the motor. it actually may be a bigger pulley on the motor i dont remember for sure. but we had a bigger cam in it. it was bored out. and had bigger valves put in. It also had a homemade blower made out of an old vaccum motor. Surprisingly enough it didnt kill our bottom end either because the motor made so much power. One of our friends tried to make one by just swappin his pulley's out to what we had and we had push start him lol just because he was geared so tall and had no power to back it up.:eek2:
