these gears are gauranteed to never break. let ATP know your interested and they will begin production..... i just got off the phone with them and they said they want AT LEAST 10 people interested...... the news of these gears is not out there yet.... so if you are seriously interested in never having to worry about your transmission give them a call at 407-880-3171 ....... i know i will jump on them as soon as they're made..... any real racer should really look into these seriously...... they are about $200 per gear, we only really need to get 2-3-4 which are the gears most used, $550 for the tranny service which is to strengthen the gears and prolong the life or $600 for bullet proof gears that will NEVER break, your choice.....

600 isnt too bad, sorta steep for 3 gears, plus labor imo

you need the right flywheel puller and a case separator to split your cases. after that it is pretty easy if you have a shop manual.

alright, im sure between me and a couple buddies we could figure it out!

btw... Flywheel puller, case separator and crank installer are all pretty cheap from Rocky Mountian ATV. And yes, get a service manual. If for nothing else, torque specs. ;)

we were discussing pricing and whatnot, and with him doin all the labor, 3 new billet gears and doing his other service to the gears to them them just about indestrucatble its gonna cost around 1350... quite a big chunk of change, but 450 of that is labor and parts (i.e gaskets)

ya, that sounds about right, considering they would be micro polishing your whole transmission and wat not

geez jeremy ur really pushin these gears out there aint ya, i just have one question. Me and my mechanic were discussing these gears yesterday and we were thinkin, You cant put billet gears in w/ regular gears, the billet gears would just ruin the other ones and cause more problems. Have u disucussed this with ATP at all?

Well the teeth of the gears dont come in to contact with the ones right next to them, its the cogs or whatever the hell they are on the sides that slide and engage with each other, so if you replaced 2, 3, and 4th gear then only the sides of the billet and non billet would contact and not the teeth themselves, so it should work, but im not getting them cause i would rather save the money and wait for my motor to grenade like every other normal person.

If there aint enough people interested in this you are NEVER gunna see how great these would work, so come next year we'll all just be screwed

if there is not enough interest does that mean that they are not needed
