View Full Version : gooy stuff on my moto 440

AS i was cleaning my quad today, i saw that this area had gooy stuff around it, and looked kind of loose..it looks like i can pull it off pretty easy if I wanted to..not that i do though..i haven't touched this, but i just want to make sure nothing is wrong with it..thanks.

are you talking about the dielectric grease on the terminals? if so it supposed to be there.;)

yeah...thats what I am talking about. thanks alot :) . I just never saw it there, and was just making sure that nothing was there that wasn't supposed to be there....also, i don't have a pic of it right now, but the spot where the key goes in up by the handlebars is rubbing on the top of the gas tank area...i tried to bend that up, but it just made it worst..do they sell any aftermarket metal peices that I can buy to replace the metal holder where the key and kill switch is? Is there anywhere else to mount the key...something trick perhaps? thanks.

i dunno about the key switch, maybe pm jeff@quadshop he is about as close to an expert as anyone on these things.:)

Get yourself the walsh bar mount. It holds the key and the pingel kill switch and It says walsh on it, but seriously it is a good peice.

Hmm....looks defective. Maybe you should just bring it here and give her to me.....You wouldn't want a broken quad on your hands...

the nicest quad iv ever seen was a stock 01 raptor from 20 feet away. im glad iv never seen a cdale, i would faint and drown in my own drool

well theres only one way to make sure your quad hasnt contracted some kind of infection...i hear of newer dales getting RTD's "Rider transmitted Diseases" taste that stuff...if you feel no pain or the urge to vomit...and dont die instantly...youre good to go
