My son would like to know what you guys think of his first quad project?????

Here is our other project quad just finished it this week end.
2002 yamaha blaster
trenga racing 29mm carb
motion pro twist grip throttle
protaper bars
reed spacer
boyesen rad valve
jet kit airbox removed
K&N air filter
oil pump removed blank off plate
DG pipe and silencer
13 tooth front sprocket
DID chain
shock socks
douglas red lable rims
ITP hole shot tires front and rear
race cut plastic
DG steel nerf bars from a banshee custom fitted to blaster
renthal grips
custom bent 304 stainless steel rear grab bar

This is his first quad project!!!!!!! 14 years old.

Its nice to see him start a quad project at 14 thats when i started my first project to. Its good to learn early.

That machine looks pretty good, especially for only being 14!
You've got many years of custom quad building ahead!

I really like the wheels and tires you've got. I'm looking to get a set like that for my Blaster. The stock tires handle terrible!

How do you like the power with the different carb and exhaust?
Is it any harder to start? Does it still run reliably?

My Blaster doesn't have any motor mods and it starts and runs great every day, so I'm not sure I want to mess with it!

starts just like a stock blaster and will idel all day if you let it.
has some time on it now with no issues at all to report.
The wheels and tires cost us about $450.00 which was not cheap but the quad handles way better!!!!!and realy launches good out of the hole now.....the carb and pipe realy woke it up!!!
the removal of the air box lids made a differance as did the K&N filter!!!!:p :p :p :p :) :) :) :devil: :devil: :devil: :devil: :devil: :devil::

very nice. great lookin' blaster. how do you like your Trenga carb, is it a OKO carb (keihin clone). i've got their 30mm OKO flat side and love it. what about trenga exhaust setup?

The carb is a keihn we thought it was a trenga carb but found out through sundco in ca that it was a genuine kiehn.we have a DG pipe and silencer on ours.With a boyeson rad valve and caeb spacer too.

ok thats a great start on a quad that could have alot of good with the right rider. he has a great start... hes 14 and his blaster has more mods than mine!
he could do well in this sport if he started fabing right now...
im startin on a blaster making a full out mx quad... see what happeneds !

nice ride keep thos mods going... now all he needs is some aftermarked a-arms and shocks and he can just have balls to the wall!
