My son david asked me this tonight while we were driving home from snowmobiling.on our yamaha two stroke snowmobiles.

"Dad when do you think they will start making two stroke quads again?"
"why did they ever stop making them?"

Does anyone besides GASGAS make them anymore?

"I think they are easier to work on and I know they are lighter and faster than four strokes."

So why would they do that????

I would like for all of you to tell him what you think the answers are to his questions.

I don't want my opinion to be biased and he can here what other people think the reason or reasons are for the shift to four strokes.

I also would like to here of all of the current mfg's of two stroke quads..

we have a blaster and a gasgas300wild both are two strokes and we do not own any four strokes.

our snowmobiles are also two strokes and our boat motor is also a two stroke 150hp merc black max out board.
so he knows dad likes them and buys them for the toys.

about the 2 strokes.

im not really sure. i think it was because of environtmentalists(spelling?) sayign they pollute the earth 2 much. i myself like both 2 stroke and 4 strokes. they both have there ups and they both there downs.
