has anyone painted fenders with usual automotive paint and how has it turned out with ridin and the elements...

i would not do it, because it will chip and will look terriable when it gets beat up!!!

no doubt that if it isnt done right... the above post is correct.

think about a quad that is prepped right and has the most flexible clear on the market on it. Any light scratches can be buffed out.. they cant be on a stock plastic. some ppl have tried it but it still dont look right no matter what they say. It may look better than before but not like it would if you could buff out a clear coat.

I used a catalyzed tank sealer made for plastic, then I painted the outside. This has been done for a few months and has not bubbled yet.http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r176/spikeralpheb/vehicles/450r.jpg
check this out . This guy on the org. had this done dont know how long it will last maybe he can help. Hope It did'nt offend anyone. I love this site.. The guys member name is bondoboy
