how many hours are on it? If over 20 your valves are most likely burnt up or out of adjustment, but I guess it does start. I would definately start with your valves.

Not everything is recalled. My valves went out of adjustment in my 06 and the dealer didn't do it for free.

only brought the bike three weeks ago for my son hes js moved up from racing blasters
the bike came from a pro-rider here in the uk and was put in a honda dealership after each race meeting
the motor has port & polished new gear box hrc kit high comp piston

ive just cleaned the carb and checked the plug

jeting 45pilot 162 main i think this maybe under jeted ?

plug looked like it needs changing so done that

enyway put it back together and now starts

ill run it up tomorrow and see if it starts when hot this should tell me if the valves need addjusting
thanks paul uk

That jetting is about correct for an 06, but i have heard that the dyno jet kit's are on the large size of jetting, I run a 165 in mine no port work stock with HRC kit, A/F and exhaust, how long was it sitting and was the gas good in it.

the gas can we used did have some gas that was mixed with 2 stroke oil still left in it but the bike has done a full tank of gas since so should of flush thru
