Did anyone have trouble putting the new caliper on when the installed new EBC severe duty brakes???? It just seems that there is no room at all.

No, is it on the front or rear. If it is the front then just get a C-clamp and compress the piston until it stops. IF it is the rear then loosen the parking brake bolt and do the same with the c-clamp. Should slide right over the disc.

parking brake block off is great for having to change the pads on the rear, the clamp just goes right over

Its on the rear and i already have a PB block off. Its like the gap is just not big enough

to get my EBC sintered rear pads i had to take a rubber mallet and hit it to go in there. the EBC normally are a tight fit but its good because the pads last long

If you are still having trouble, loosen the rear brake fluid cap from the threads. As you tighten the C clamp, the fluid will return back to the bottle allowing the piston to completly open, thus the pads should drop in.

the slider is probably frozen... i think its an allen head , you take that out and clean up the bracket and grease it up so it moves freely.
