What exhaust is the best for the 05 Predator or sportsman? The Polaris dealer said whatever fit the Predator would fit the Sportsman. Looking for all over performance.

I've always used Hetrick Racing/Trinity pipes. Had very good luck. Give Hetrick a call.

I hear that in all 90s that if you run strait headers it will get you an extra 9 horses. On 90s it also sounds really good !:D

I have seen several quads with the Koso pipe. It looks the same as the Hetrick. Anyone used the Koso?

Each pipe is built different. Some good for low-mid range RPM and some for higher range RPM. I can't tell you for sure what the Koso is good for, but the Hetrick/Trinity is great all the way thru. The Koso may have other benefits, but from my experience(which isn't a ton) they are a cheaper entry level pipe for starters. Our DRR came stock with a Koso type pipe and we changed. Just my .02 cents.

As for the post on 9hp by doing exhaust. That ain't close. The 90 comes stock at around 5-8hp. They only run around 11-14hp total when modded.

We have tried a few different pipes on our Predator 90 and found that the pipe that Hetrick sells works excellent in just about any application and Rich and Michelle can get you set up the first time.

Anyone have any experience with FMF Pipes for these minis? Particularly for the Pred/Sports 90.
I've heard mixed reviews

thanks

fmf is a little better than stock but cant come close to the real race exhaust built by wrh, hetrick and trinity. spend the little extra and get a good exhaust. i prefer the wrh exhaust.

How much louder is the Hetrick pipe over the stock exhaust? Just tryin to keep noise down while adding more hp.

It is definitely louder. I can't tell you a dB though.

Can you run the wrh, hetrick or trinity pipes with reverse? I have an 05 with reverse. I would really like to keep my reverse, as we do not race it just track days and woods riding.

Yes, they all make pipes for the reverse models.

But are they as good as the regular race pipes?

They are regular race pipes. They are just made to fit the reverse models.

Give WRH Racing or Hetrick a call. If you call them they can tell you much better and more detailed. I've talked to Chris, Robin and even Michelle at Hetrick several times and they know what their talking about and can be very helpful. I don't know Billy at WRH but can tell you he knows what he's doing too.

The WRH Exhaust is a race pipe. Tuned more for bottom to mid/top then just top end alone. Built right on a Polaris reverse model. You'll need a cdi box to unleash the potential of the pipe.
