Does anyone have any closeups of a set of mounted nerfs on a 250ex ? I would also like to know the width and length of them. I would like to modify a set form a 400ex to fit on a 250ex if at all possible.
Thanks,
Raz

and a pic of the tusk brand mounted on a 250ex

I dont think it will fit right but you may get it close enough to work

(these where only 100 bucks, and are holding up ok)

the 250ex has a short wheel base, you can see in the pic its like 10" from the front of peg to front of nerf, its about 4" shorter than the 400ex

if I was to put the 400ex nerf on the 250ex it would be close to rubbing the front tire, I say spend the money and get the right nerfs for the 250ex

(try finding usedm, or trade your 400 nerfs for 250 nerfs, or sell the 400 nerfs and buy 250's)

how about a set off of a blaster ?

most nerfs require some type of drilling, pulling, prying to get them to fit the quad they where made for

I think if you try to swap a set of nerfs from one make to another its going to require some modifications

maybe try ebay or craigslist or post in the wanted section

450rJam is right.
It's hard enough getting the nerfs on the quad they were designed to fit!
If the used set had propegs and you were removing the existing pegs and heel guards, maybe. But you will still need to do a lot modifying...
Buy those nerfs cheap, clean em up, paint/polish. Sell them here or on eBay. Take the money and buy nerfs that 'fit'!
