Sorry if this sounds dumb and repetitive but I have searched and havent found anything. I ride a stock 2004 yfz 450 besides having a kill switch and the airbox lid removed. Im trying to learn some freestyle tricks however my jump right now only shoots me out about 25 feet and about 4 feet high and i land flat. I only have about 40 feet to get a run at it so i hit it in second gear. What I was considering doing is building another jump somewhere else that gives me more room to get a run at it. I dont know what I should do though as in how big to make it and how far and how big to make the landing ramp. Also I only have a shovel to work with so take that into consideration. So what do you guys think I should do to be able to learn some freestyle tricks such as heelclickers, supermans and no footed can cans. Thanks for your help and sorry for such a long post.

its gonna suck using only a shovel. i would try really hard to get at least a tractor ot something. i have way too much time, and i built a 30 foot step up and about a 30 foot step down with just a shovel. it takes forever and is not fun, but its worth it in the end.

i didnt read your whole post and im not sure what your riding area is like. but we built a jump on a hill. its pretty big. kinda like a freestyle ramp too. we just mad the actually jump on one side of the hill. and we land on the downside. but like i said im not sure what your riding area is like

building it into a hill would make it much easier, especially with shovels.

but it can be done, grab a few friends a couple wheel barrow's and some shovels take a day or 2 and just dig. itll get done eventually

To do the tricks you want to do you are going to need more air time than 25ft can offer you need to get at least 40ft to pull a superman maybe more .
