i just had my engine rebuilt i just put a brand new battery in it and i even have a trickle charger for it. when its been sitting a few days in a cold garage it will not start. i put the ready heater on it for about 10 or 15min's and it starts right up. are these things just that cold blooded or do i need to put a bigger main jet in it? its an 04, bored a little over but other than that no engine work.

well of course its gonna be hard to start sittin in a cold garage the oil is gonna thickin up and its gonna be hard to move the crank so its normal but there is one way you can fix that whole thing
buy a 2-stroke

I have an 04 and have problems starting too. From what I'm told the 04's have that problem, along with many others that were fixed the next year.

mine is an 04. I pull the choke and pump the throttle two or three times and it starts the first time.

For starting you need a bigger pilot jet
