i was wondering how much of a defference would it make if i put on a curtis sparks 39mm carb, also a big gun rev box and jet it right. would it be worth it? i am gettin this carb for cheap too

It will def. help out, but other mods determine how much it will help. I have that carb on miy 416 an love it. Got any other mods?

i wanna do full exhaust, but i need to do something because i cant have a loud exhaust around my house. i had my old one and every one hated me. what should i do to make it quiet as possible!

What exhaust did you have? A white bros e-series isnt too loud. Also the fmf power core 4 is pretty nice, but its a little loudner than the e-series. Many riders on this forum like the hmf with the quiet core. Oh and also on the e-series, its not real loud but they also make a quiet core for it i think.

i seen like just those tips your put on the end of the pipe... i think i might just got for that and then throw the exhuast on the track n trails

Well you have a lot of options for quiet exhausts. FMF Q2 AND Q4 makes great power gains but are nice and quiet. Also Yoshimura RS-3 exhaust are pretty quiet and make great power gains. As of the carb it all depends on your mods. More engine mods than anything else. Like Drew said a 416 it would work excellent with.:cool:

Sparks is not the pipe to get if you don't want alot of noise. I have a Sparks pipe on my son's 300 and a HMF on my 400 and they are loud as ****

not true.. sparks makes the new end caps or somthing you can buy the quiet endcap or like the super quiet one

I have heard this too. I think you put dics in it like the white bros and fmf pipes.

And with the queit core it is still too loud to be run around without pissing off the neighbors.

that might be true but i had one on my 250ex they said with no quietcore all i had to do is repack it and its legal for the trails.. but nabors can get pissy with the LeXX pipe and that only 93 dbs but i forget if he needs it quiet for nabors or the trails? but for trails he should be fine
