i have a 07' 400ex and it wont start. its not flooded because i checked the plug numerous times and its got gas and i even hooked jumper cables up to it. I'm thinking about getting a new plug, its black i do believe means its to rich combination?? any ideas?? thanks!!

do not use jumper cables, it could short out your wiring. i suggest cking your fuse 1st, then try a new spark plug with a fully charged battery

i just put a charger on it. were do i find the fuses?

Is it cold there is Michigan?

IF it is, maybe, just maybe your not giving it enough gas.

Is the plug dry or wet? If it was dry, before you put in the new plug, try this:

WHILE cranking stab the throttle numerous times and see if it fires. Be careful, you can easily flood it doing this if it is cold.

I would also look at your starter cable make sure it has a clean connection to your starter. I had a problem with mine before.

oh yea its pretty cold during the day its around in the 30's the past few days. thanks for all the help!
