HELP! QUICK!! rocket open?

i need help quick. does anyone know if rocket raceway in PA is open tomorrow? sat 11-24. i emailed them and tried to call but the number doesnt work. im leaving for the cabin in an hour and need to know quick!!! are tracks usually open into late november? should i risk payin the extra 10$ in toll and pissing my dad off and take the quad?

probably not. I know all the tracks around here are closed including panther hollow which isn't too far from rocket, so I take it the rest are closed. Hell 251 closed back in september.

OHh yea its open I was just there earlier today talking to steve about the track.

eh' when I can. The tuesday practices didn't really work out for me, but I made it to a few of the saturday ones. I usually run 251 a good bit seeing how it's local. My friend's buddy built a pretty wild mx track in his backyard.

not bad for a back yard mx track. Well I gotta admit it, he's a pro am rider so he built it haha. Just to make it clear, the guy in the photo is not the pro am rider haha, that's my slow ***.

just incase you haven't been the 251, this is about the only pic I have. Haha, I was trying out my buddy's rmz on the tripple. She flys pretty good. It's more of a wide open kinda track. A little like rocket with the elevation changes too.

eh so so. He knows my name and I know his. Damn dude alex is fast as hell. Seriously. He blew my *** out of the water like I was standing still. Yea it's been open all summer. Pretty good track. Some of the ruts up there are tough for bikes though. I don't get how those guys do it haha. For my 125 that track was kinda hard with a few of the jumps being right out of a corner, but most of them you have a decent run to.

yea they were open. i was there for a couple hours saturday evening, there was only like 2 other bikes on the track, the place was empty, but still really fun.

ok i will, did you hear anything about them closing the track to quads? i heard theres no atv mx races there next year, and theyre gonna make it bikes only.

what other tracks are around that area? how far is Area 251? and is panther hollow any good, and how far is it from the rocket?

Panter hollow is pretty good. There are some decent jumps up there too. 251 is probably about an hour and halfish away from you (three springs). It's in tyrone. I'm about an hour exactly away from three springs and I'm from altoona. Wolfmann's might be open next year. That's a half decent track when they take care of it and open it. Very rarely changes though. I dunno about the quads not running. I've heard that about rocket for the last 4 years. I know they don't run quads on saturdays I believe. They aren't very quad friendly up there haha. Rut killers!!!! lol

yea i noticed they dont like quads too much. they run ATVs there saturday, and not on sundays.
