Too low of tire pressure?

I am wondering what tire pressure is too low (dangerous) to run. I like to run my tires low for traction but I don't want them to rip of the rim. Does the back right tire look to low? I am thinking it was

thats called tire roll and if you look at any picture of someone sliding like that, you will see the tire rolling. Dont worry about it. Looks like you are running hipers any way.

Well I just didn't know the tire should flex that much. I think I run 3psi, the tires are als only 2plys. Also I don't have beadlocked rims. Well I guess it is ok just thought I would ask. How much tire pressure do you think is too low (for non-beadlocked rims) though?

your only running 2PSI on non beadlock wheels?! to me thats way too low. I run mine around 4PSI

yea that is really low for non beads. I run 6 in my Klaws/Knarlys. That kinda scares me. I dont wanna rip them off the beads tho, but any more air is too much. I would say 5 is good number.

yep my stock rears I try to keep at 4-5PSI more is too much and less is too low.

I run 3.5 sometimes with no problems for traction mainly for hill climbing! but for trails i bump it up to 4-4.5 so my swingarm skid want hit!! I think it depends on what type of riding you do. A buddy had 2psi in his yfz and was climbing all kinds of steep hills on stock rims and tires. I thinks its a lil to low for me!!

yeah I kinda thought 3psi was too low. I think I am gonna go to 4psi. Just untill I get my -4" swinger then maybe I can run 5psi

I run 3-3.5psi in my rear tires w/ non beadlocks (ITP's) and no troubles......yet lol

yea its fine all tires do that i run 8 psi in my tires them guys running 3 and 4 psi are crazy

I run anywhere from 18.7 pounds to 20.7 pounds in my hipers.



...total pressure that is, subtract the 14.7 atmospheric for guage pressure :p
