The carrier is shot....the PO rode this thing long past when the bearings failed.
I need to either find a boneyard where I can get a complete Rear end from, OR
I can weld/Fabricate....I was thinking that since this is just a live axle and a carrier I can make my own. It is a chain drive 2WD quad, and I was wondering if anyone had any Ideas for a donor axle.
I can NOT seem to find a complete rear end anywhere online. I can buy all the compenents from cheapcyclepartsdotcom, but It would cost almost $800 ($carrier is at least $250 alone.) I cannot justify that kind of cost for an old 1991 utility quad!
And I have checked Ebay....everything I need for it BUT a rear end.
