my hmf will be wednesday and i am needing to know what jets to run? 1.lid off with stock filter 2. lid off with k&N (07 450er)

#45 Leak Jet
Stock or 45pilot if u get popping on decel
HRC Needle Middle Clip

And turn the A/F screw 2.5 turns out.
Ball park to get you started.

You could get away with just the main jet and the leak jet. But if you want to do it right and not have a lean mid throttle then get the HRC needle too.

Jetting will be the same with a stock filter or the K&N. The air box lid being off is what makes the difference.

Fine, 170 might be a tad rich once summer rolls around, but will be perfect for winter.

Some people say the #55 leak jet is harder to find then the #45. Both work though.

i use 180 mj up here in pa for summer with no airbox lid and twin air filter

i just bought a stage one and 2 dyno jet kit off ebay for the price of one and threw it in pretty easy

Dyno Jet sizes are different then keihin Jet sizes
