Well i'm in the market for some nice (strong) hand guards. and i've been looking at these two specifically

These powermadd ones (with the hand wrap around kit)

Or these maier onces

I like the idea of the maier ones because of the wrap around and the aluminum reinforcement band that goes through them. I'd like them to be as strong as possible but not be huge on the bike.

So i have 2 questiosn mainly. Does anyone have a picture of the maier hand guards on a bike? i want to see how large they are mounted up.

And second, do you think the powermadds with the wrap around kit are strong enough for significant tree branch hits? The trails i ride on here are mostly woods/overgrown and such. so i want something that'll last.

Thanks guys.

If those are your choices do the Maier.

Have you researched Acerbis Rally II's?

By all means if anyone has pictures of any of these hand guards mounted up, post them.

I just want something strong that's not huge on the quad and ugly looking :)

i have the powermadd power x series with the flex mounts and i love em. you can take em and bend em right down past the levers and they wont break.
