hey all you guys with the wide front ends i have and 300ex and i was wondering does the extened front end handle like alot better or does it just look cooler kinda new to this let me know thanks.

pretty much any type of extended arms will help in any type of riding situation, it all just depends on how wide you want to go

OO ok thanks and i was also wondering i want to extened my front end but a arm are $$$$$ so i was wondering i saw this kit and it wasnt that expensice it like mounts were u mount your a arm then you mount your a arm to that thing and it makes them wider and is that like a lot load a bull or does that work??

if your talking about the kit on ebay, Its an easy way to widen your front end, but alot of stress is put on all the wrong places i've heard. Its supposedly not good for jumping and all that sort

littledirt929 i have the dimoind j customs kit on a blaster and it was raced on the national mx's here on the east coast. it was raced by a 165lb rider who was not afraid to jump it. its been 75 feet plus and we never had any problems with it. the lower plates are made out of a 1/4" flate stock and its made to keep all the steering and susp travel the same. i love the kit and would do it again. the only draw back would be if you need more travel than the stock susp could provide. i will try and get some pics up of my sons blaster.

Actually, the steering geometry is not the same as a-arms. The pivot point for the a-arms and the pivot point for the tie-rods are different. the a-arm pivot points are farther out, while the tie-rods are still in the stock position. This causes bumpsteer. I rode both and the bumpsteer is clear between the two.. I had this kit but switched to extended a-arms after i broke the top bracket and a tie-rod. This was on a 65ft double, and was not a hard landing. It destroyed a front rim and the frame.

well as far as I have seen and experineced not a single draw back. The system has worked fine and is still in use, but as like any racing product they can and will let go from time to time. Every rider and every bike is different so this is the info and you will have to make up your own mind. hope this helps

Here's mine. I have 400EX lowers and 250R upper a arms, 400EX shocks and a KidsOnQuads relocation bracket. The rims are Douglas .160's and the offset adds to the width.
The nice thing is that bump steer is not a problem at all with this set up. The added offset of the rims had me a bit worried about that but is working fine.
As a side note, after market Unilug type wheel spacers, like used on cars, make a great spacer for the 250R ball joints

might as well throw mine into the mix. 400ex +2 lonestar's not sure on offset but i'm guessin around 49" give or take havnt measured it yet for actual width.

Thanx man that means alot to me. That front end i got from cody300ex and the shocks localy. those 2 parts layed me back $400 total. It measures 48''

Anyone seen the new 09' KFX450R frame dimensions? The frame is a peice of box aluminum about 2"w X 3" h. Brings the aarms almost 2" apart on the bottom....almost doing away with the bumpsteer ALL TOGETHER!!!

this is my 300ex its about 52inches wide it has 400ex Aarms on it and 2inch spacers on it also it has the works duel rate shocks on it and the dura blue eliminator X33 pin drive axle on it it also has a 330 big bore kit with a stage 2 cam and procircut t4 slipon its 12.5 to 1 comp i rum 104 octain fuel in it and it will keep up with stock 400 cc bikes and out handle any of them :devil: :blah:
