im looking for a lowering kit, that can lower the front of my quad down. i would just ratchet strap it but im looking for something i can build in my machine shop, can anyone give me some pics of theirs or sizes? it would greatly help my design process.

and i know.. they arent for jumping, this is for ice drags, so dont bother telling me that.

its been my experience that with the geometry of the 400ex spindles and the angles that they are designed with, that lowering the front will premote a tremendous amount of bump steer and cause the steering sensativity to increase. juss my .02 worth.

I made my own on my g/f's 400 because i know she wont buy a arms and i had a spare set to experiment on anyway. Kicked the shock mounts on to the side a bit. Much lower, stable and helped her out a bunch. i dont know if this pic will help you or not. i can try to take a new one if need be.

a good few inches... kicked them out almost as far as they could go without hititng the a arms. I was using 450 shocks with it when i made them for my 400, works even better with the stock 400 shocks. All you need is some 1/4 flat stock, grade 8 bolts and a welder
