i am starting to want a dirtbike. i don't plan to sell my quad but what would be a good dirtbike for me. i was thinking like cr125, yz125,kx125, or rm125. i used to have a kx80, and now all i have is a xr80 and xr100. i want somthing with power. whats your opinion???

are you getting used or new. Honestly I don't think I would own a kx or rm motorcross bike. You left out ktm also which seems to have great bikes. Actually though if you wanna get a 125 class bike I would suggest a crf250f or yz250f. Those bikes are so awsome. Not as finicky, easier to ride, more all around power, nice sound.

How big are you?

Got a niiice ktm 250:D

no its not a monster. its prettymuch like a 125 but with more power for climbing and such, though a new 125 would outrun it at the track. super fun trail bike. i love leaving my friends in the dust in 2nd gear wile there about to wind out

anywho, have fun with whatever you get

there is nothing wrong with the RMs and the KXs when they're new and fresh. but after a year or two you'll start to see why you should have got a cr or a yz...

i know wht ya mean my riding buddies lil bro has a kx85 bigwheel nice bike and egros but in 1,2,3,4 gear it just wants to flip you then you hit the pv it opens and ur just being blinded and we are always spending 30minutes getting it tuned up right it guzzles gas like a old mack truck we all pack gas for his bike and crap so just keep goin through m man chang every 2 years jut how many times i change my undies! if it was me i would get a xr400rnot l a r faster and lghter get a filter pipe and cam and hold on man and they are run forevers and dont guzle gas i have not seen a bike that nig use so little gas when running good.... ;)

I would rather have a KX than a YZ. I rode a friends YZ 125 and it felt fast but I liked the KX a lot more. I'm not much of a dirtbike riding kinda guy though. If I were to go bikes, I would go with a CRF250 or YZF250... the 250-450 class is to much bike for me, and I can't ride 2-strokes worth a *****, but thats just me.

2 stroke bikes scare me. I've had a few experiences that weren't that bad, but they could have been a lot worse. I'd go for an xr 250r, they are sweet, and they have power. I'll stick to my 4 wheels though.

If you want a two stroke that is not lightning fast check out a kdx 200 by kawi they are a old school design that is more of a woods racer than a straight up mxer. There power band comes on alot smoother and its got a little head light.;)
