Congrats to Temecula Motorsports on their recent win. It was a brutal race. Our team , the 53a, Christys Racing/Duncan Honda 450r ended up in 2nd place in the Sportsman ATV class, 6th overall after 1300 miles in Baja. Would like to add this to the Ex Riders story;
“About 75 miles in we missed the Honda pit stop and ran out of gas, which put us into 6th place.” Stated Mike Cafro. “We worked out way up into 3rd place and then ran out of gas again.”
We gave Dana Creech on the Temecual Motorsports bilke gas after they ran out at the hwy crossing at KM77. The Polaris team of Jeff Hancock also ran out at the same place. We also gave them some fuel to keep going. Congrats to all that finsihed. It was brutal. Keep Hoyt Penland in your prayers. He suffered a bad crash at the race and I hope he is healing well. Tried to post this in the racing section. It wouldnt let me post in there.
