Xbox360 or PS3

I looking to buy either one of these. Which do you guys think is better. I going to be playing online alot, and want the best console

ps3 is better and its more than just an opinion ... ps3 has full online browsing for no cost ... 360 makes u pay just to play online games you cant even browse on it.

From what I read in those, I'm getting a PS3 and the new MX vs. ATV for Christmas. :D

yeah the ps3 also has online help guides, a store where you can download free demos (just downloaded the atv vs mx game, and its awesome), and you update them via the internet every once in a while, so you always have the thing up to date, and soon the xbox wont even be in the shadow of the ps3

Everyone I know that has a xbox 360 has had to send it back for the "Ring of Death" problem. Even my buddy bought the Elite becuase he thought they fixed it but his broke a week ago. They pay for everything but why spend that much money and have to deal with sending it back and waiting for it. The only thing sony messed up on was not having some kind of achievement system.

on the 360, as you complete certain aspects or things in the game it comes up and gives you gamerscore points. they have no real value but they are there for bragging rights.

my vote goes to the 360 tho because almost all my friends have the ps3 and the graphics are just junk unless you have a HD tv. the graphics on the xbox are way better if you just have a normal tv. and just so people wont argue with me we hooked up my friends ps3 to my tv also and the graphics are still way better on the 360. so unless you aready have an HD tv i would get the 360 because xbox has way more games than the ps3 does but that may change in the next year or so

buy a 360 elite system. it blows the 360 premium out of the water with the hdmi hookups! plus online play is much better. xbox live is less than $5 a month and the whole xbox live setup kicks the crap out of all other online supporters. and the achievements is a cool touch also.

OKOK I Know my Xbox died for a second time and im bitter haha...I love Xbox don't get me wrong but there CS blows... The PS3 has a built in blu-ray player which is pretty cool...You can get a PS3 that doesn't play PS2 for 399...Right now 360 games look better but give it time and the PS3 will...Blu ray has the ability to hold more and PS3 has the ability to do more...Kid I work with has a PS3 and put linux on it and runs it like a computer...I bought an XBOX cuz PS3 was so expensive but when it comes down to it I will replace my xbox with a PS3

Im sorry but i completly disagree with you here. 480i is 480i. its gonna look crappy no matter what system it is.

The most recent big release, CoD4 looks exactly the same on both systems. The only difference is that you have to pay to play one of them online.

the 360 can do 1080p too. it was just a little iffy in the beggining because not all 360's have hdmi ports.

The reason most of the PS3 games look bad is because they are ports from xbox360. They just snagged xbox's version of the games and made it work on the ps3. They spent no time making it "a PS3 Game" with the ps3. Actually, by making fun of the ps3 graphics, you are making fun of the xbox360 graphics. You hear what they have planned with Killzone? One level was over 2 gigs. Also, the ps3's graphics don't suck because the PS3 doesn't have graphics. They are not the ones that model the objects in games. If you hate the graphics, blame the video game company, not the ps3. The graphics are only as good as someone is willing to spend their time on.

The choice is obvious for me.

Not all of them. I have a ps3, I would know. The games that developers "made" for the ps3 look great, but the games made for xbox360 and ported to ps3 look horrible. I can't wait till more developers focus their efforts on the ps3 and not drag pre-made games over.

Dude are you serious? Almost every game that came out when the ps3 was still new was ported. That's why everyone doubted its graphic capabilities and made fun of its games. Not until recently did games actually "made" for the ps3 come out. Most of the others were just ways to save the developers money and get ps3 owners to buy games. In fact, probably most games that are made for both systems are just the same game with different coding. To say that it looks better on the PS3 or xbox360 is just silly. They aren't going to make the whole game over again for another system, that would be a huge waste of money and time. Besides, if they did make games for a certain system "better," that would be unfair for the other systems and they would lose customers.
