Does anyone have a 86-89 fourtrax with a CR500 motor in it?


Im just curious as to what all was needed for the conversion, mounts, hoses, etc.besides of course a donor bike.

And for those of you that have done this, got pics?

Do a search, this has been discussed to death.

The basics are: It's a waste of time, money and a good 250R frame. It will vibrate your arms off and crack the frame to pieces. It doesn't provide any more excitement or power than a well built 330,370 etc.

If you are in any way thinking (even the slightest bit) to doing that to your nice stock 250R, you are off your rocker.

baaahahaaa! yeah i know this !!!lol I would never consider doing this to my stocker ! But iwas just a bit curious as to whats involved and forget doing a search you pretty much summed it up for me!! thanx Renvy
