The houser package is real nice for the price.

I've never talked to any that actually liked their fox podium rear shock. Nothing but love for their fronts though.
I've never ridden one, but thats what I've herd.

I just updated my rear shock from a GTT to a Motowoz, huge difference.
For the really deep/fast whoops in the trails/pits and the bad landings at the MX track its a very comfortable upgrade =)

It seems to be a popular combo people use alone with Fox fronts. Also see Axis rears a lot with them.

I can't say enough good things about the Fox Evol/Podium combo. IMO

Nice man I am getting one of the $2056 front ends also from the clearence and then I am getting a rear rebuild. The front ends seem like a really great deal.

I have DERISI rebuild right now and they are great but that deal was to good to pass up so i am also getting the Podium rear.

How is the derisi rebuild becuase that is what I am getting? Also is there a deal in the clearance for a rear end also? I am not goign to be doing enough stuff to get a swinger and lt rear shock so I already got a Derisi Mx linkage and axle so I am going after a a Derisi rebuild. How much did your rebuild cost and was it dual rate or single rate? Let me know because I want to see how much it costs to get it done.

I did not see any rear ends in the clearance section, my revalve/respring was i believe around $385.00, i have a GTT mx link and a axle already to, they actually make a Fox Podium rear shock for the stock swinger and GTT/Derisi mx link so that why i got it, my rebuild is dual rate and works great but i got a deal on the rear shock so thats why i bought it as well, to bad you bike is a 04 cause my rebuild is fresh, call and talk to Santo he is a great guy and will take good care of you.

11-21-2007, 09:48 PM
Ok but you paid $385 for santo to just make it dual rate and rebuild it and stuff without a linkage? Wow i might as well just get a used aftermarket.

Was your podium shock used? Also are you running it on that gtt or derisi mx linkage that you have?

Im running the Motowoz/Smc LT set up up front.IN the rear im running a 15.5" Motowoz with the Gt Thunder rear link and stock arm. After working with Jim and explaining what i wanted after this years rebuild i couldnt be happier. So if valved right you will be very happy running aftermarket with that link. And for the price just get an aftermarket rear. You know in time youlll want one anyway!I saved over 1400 buy running the Gt Thunder and rear aftermarket shock with the indestructable stock 06 arm....:D

I hope he didn't pay $670 for a used Podium. You can get them new/LT for about that much.

Wow where did you order that shock from? This is the first i heard fox made a rear shock for just a st linkage which is pretty cool. Also what is all adjustable on that shock?
