can anyone tell me if a 400ex swingarm will fit on a 86-87 250r?

Yes a 400ex swingarm will fit a 250r. You will need to modify the spacers to get It to fit tightly on each side where the bolt goes through the engine. The carriers are the same. You will need to modify the brake stay also. The pin that keeps the brake stay from spinning when you adjust the chain Is a little bigger and Is a little farther towards the front of the swingarm on the 400ex. I run a Extended 400ex axle on a 86 250r 3 wheeler.
