i have a 2006 suzuki drz400s street legal dirtbike with about 3,300 abuse free miles...about 3,000 of the miles were 100% street only..previous owner used it to commute back and forth to work and never touched dirt.
since buying the bike i put a ton of time and money into the bike to make it an actual dual sport. the bike has:
like new kenda k270 d.o.t. legal knobby tires front and rear, drc edge l.e.d. low profile rear tail light and license plate bracket, drc model 601 rear l.e.d. blinkers mounted on the subframe, zeta full handguards with wrap around armour, ken shaun fold down enduro mirrors, renthal bar pad
along with the extras added, i removed all of the useless junk drz's are known for to lighten the bike up a bit and make it look like a real dirtbike.
removed:all reflectors,rubber footpeg inserts, bar end weights, kick stand kill switch, tail bag, seat strap, clutch engagement switch, warning label stickers, exhaust baffle, snorkel, etc.
the bike is now a true do-it-all bike...you can cruise down the highway and jump right off into a trail without a problem. bike is a TON of fun, runs,looks,and rides perfect...i've been very busy with work and school so the bike just sits in my garage spotless, polished up and ready to ride. the title is still in the process of being transfered to me through dmv, that is how much i have used it!(i have receipts showing title is on the way,should be here in 2-3 weeks)
i'm looking to get $4,200 cash for the bike or will consider trading it for a nice sport quad(450,modded 400,modded raptor,etc.) or a nice snowmobile of equal or lesser value if cash is thrown in.
