hello take a hole saw and cut 4 holes between the webing on the under side of the lid the hole size will be determined by the spacing on the webing be prepared though you might hafto to rejet because of the extra air flo sorry no pics

I have the PROPER way to do it, got it from a few engine tuners, and all of them agreed that it was the best way to do it, to get more air flow, and keep the most amount of water out. PM me if u want a pic

Dude, just buy some of those UNI airbox filters from Rocky Mountain ATV or Dennis Kirk for around $6 i think for like 6 of them then just get a 1 and 3/8 forstener bit or any 1 3/8 drill bit and drill those holes on your lid or on the airbox itself and then all it take is for you to put a little bit of filter oil on the little blue filters that go in the vents and there you go instint floage. I was supprised how much air the motor sucks through those vents, When I wash my Air Filter and my vents I always have to clean dust from around those holes. If you need links you can try ether

The uni air Vents are junk. And especially when u put them in the wrong place! The most important thing to do is make sure u put your vents in the right place. We went through 8 differant lids, and my engine tuner set each one up on the dyno with a fan blowing on it, just like the air would come while flying down the trail. But this is how i run mine, and prob. the best way we found out. The wholes i cut in mine were 2 inches long, and 1 inch wide. And this will give u an idea of where to cut them! Hope it helps!
