Just the Lever or the whole perch? I would just suggest a ASV clutch perch. One of the best mods I've made.

Look into the MSR AOF clutch perch assembly. about $29.95
Its an on the fly adjust, needle bearing pivot point with a great lever feel. You will be very happy for the little money. it is

heres what it looks like

I'm looking to change my OEM clutch and brake levers. I've been looking on Ebay and some clutch models feature hot start?? What is the??? Will that replace the yellow lever on the carb??

I will probably go with the ASV, more $ but has great reviews.
WHat do you guys think?

I have ASV clutch perch and brake lever and love the feel. hot start is only on some quads the 450R has it i know for sure. A 400ex does not have it so it is not needed. Make sure you get the brake lever for a 400ex otherwise it wont work. I had a heck of a time getting the right brake lever...Not ASV's fault though. I had a buddy cut open the top of his hand due to a non-pivoting brake lever like ASV offers, it the oem brake lever broke and cut open the top of his hand right down the the tendons. needless to say a hospital visit was underway.

If you shop, you save. I paid $30 for my ASV (reman)on Ebay. Before that I had a $15 cr250 lever. I don't know if its me or not , but they wear out fast:(
