They all sit the same, it's how it will run with them is what you want to know...

And I'd say it'll probably stick with them. I don't know if the LRD is better, I have a 265 no pv from ESR and it's pretty crazy.

im lookin to race this, this year in some mx mabie and hairscrambles forsure a esr PV 265 with a ESR exhaust and a Boysen RAD reed valve, and im not sure on the carb. with PEPS ZPS all the way around and leager a-arms with a lonestar rear end with a arens frame. ac nerfs with IMS ROLL FATTY PEGS... um thats about all i can think of. fullbore plastic... how will it sit with the 450's? i know how to ride and i think i ride pretty well, im steppin off a blaster to the 250r,

Smoking a 450 will depend on the rider man. I used to smoke 250R's and 400EX's on my Blaster back in the day..sure they'd take me on the holeshot..but I could outride them on tighter tracks.. a 265 engine that's ported right with a good pipe and carb setup...as well as gearing will run with and beat a 450 any day of the week as long as you know what you're doing

ok thats a thing i want to you i also wanna know how well these motors hold up, like the vetos 240 bb for the blaster wasnt any good or as good as the CT/LA sleeve one, that would walk all around on the vetos, thats what i wanna know.

with your setup you will have no trouble keeping up with the 450s like said before it will all depend on you as a rider. as far as reliability the 250r is bullet proof as long as it is well maintained. I bought a `86 250r afew years back that hadent been started since `93 the guy had never used anything but belray lubes on it before it was put into storage . I brought it home changed the oil put in fresh gas the darned thing started on the third kick rode it hard for three years and sold it to a guy that races hare scrambles he used the same topend until this season before this rebuild the only things that were changed was the clutch, reeds and pipe.
