Anybody use oil coolers or try different things out? I was searching for a radiator and came across this.

Thinking about trying it in the hybrid and installing where the radiator goes.

I've heard of using CBR900 oil coolers too.

I use an oil cooler.

A tranny cooler is exactly what they are. You'll probably want one a little smaller though. ;) Mine's like 6" x 8" 4-pass cooler or somewhere in that size range.

That polished aluminum tranny cooler ($52) is pretty slick also. ;)

You can get them many places. e-bay, most engine builders, catalogs, etc..

Most simply install by using the copper tube that runs from the oil pump up to the head. You cut it about 3-4" from each end and attach the tubing going to the cooler.

Very simple installation.

If you do some searching, there's been some fairly detailed instructions on how to install, some pics even.
