cam chain/timing chain??

im in the midst of ordering my engine parts,

im looking at a heavy duty cam chain.. but is that the same as a timing chain? or is there two.. people talk about them like they are the same.


also, anyone know roughly what a tensioner costs??

They are the same. Get an CRF450 chain, its the same thing as a heavy duty 400ex chain. A tensioner last I knew was under $50, but I cant remember. They sell manual chain tensioners on ebay as well that are about $40 IIRC.

the HD chain i was looking at is 47$, would a crf450 chain from a dealer be cheaper?
