I need to know which brand of 450R a-arms that use a 19.25" shock?? I am looking to buy some Fox shocks, but the arms I have are not on their list so I need to know a major brand that uses this length so I can make sure to get the right length..If anyone know 100% sure please let me know.. Thanks

Well the 450R arms I bought require this length shock so I am sure something else out there would also..

Roll design a-arms use 19.25 shocks for thier a-arms on a 450r.

my bad i just edited this cause i was half asleep and thought you needed the shocks but u need the a-arms so unless you read this before i edited it you will think this makes no sense.....lol....im still half asleep. Well anyway, most major brands can make the a-arms but they will prolly be a special order. Go to different sites get sales numbers and call and ask them. The companies will have your best answer.

most of the ones that i know of (lonestar, houser, etc) use 19 3/4 inch shocks. maybe they make arms for more then one length shock.

I have arms.. they require 19.25" shocks.. I am buying shocks, but the list on the fox website doesnt have my brand of a-arms on it so when I order the shocks I would tell them I am ordering them for (ex. Houser, Roll, Laeger,) something that requires the same length shock as I am buying..

I looked at houser, laeger and roll, the laegers XC arms use a 19" shock, thats pretty close. What I would do is go to fox's site and start at the top of the a-arm list and go to or call each company and see what size shock there arms take. Your bound to find a company with the same shock specs.

you need to make sure that the compressed length is rite for the arms some companys set there arms to 2 inch bottom out while others set it up to 1.5 inches the shocks should always bottom out berfore the frame hits it will save you alot of problems if you have the correct shocks that are built to your arms

Lonestar uses 20 - 20.5 inch shocks.

hey man, the closest i found to a 19.25" shock was works but it was for 250r and 400ex i believe as posted above. i have been looking a bit for you too. I have not found a 19.25" shock for 450r yet. So i would go with asking chris what shocks fit the roll designs. This is why I buy a package so i dont have to deal with this stuff. Not saying anything bad about ya but its a pain in the arse aint it.

Just call fox and talk to them about it.
Or have your dealer call.

I'd call your a-arm manufacturer and get the specs from him and then report them to Fox Racing Shocks. They will work with you to get them set up properly.
