does anyone know any types of mods you can do to your quad that are free????

remove the choke, take your spark arrestor out,
to save weight take your tool box off and you rear tail light and swing arm skid( unless u ride places where u need it)

Im prolly leaving some stuff out.

if you want you can chop the fenders, take off airbox lid or drill holes, use some extra plastic from cuttin fenders for things such as air scoops.

Don't forget to grind the welds on the inside of your
header.

Remove the "Honda 400EX" stickers from the plastic. You'll gain about 3 HP. :D

I have a white bros header, can i still take out the welds on that- where are they, and how do i go about doing it :huh

um to save weight get on the tredmill cause taking all that stuff off isn't gonna be noticable :D

I don't knwo if there is still a glob of weld inside of teh white bros header, but if there is just take off your header and it should be right inside of it. use a dremel tool to grind it down

The money you pay for an aftermarket header, there better not be any welds!! lol

If that was the case, I would spend my money else where.:eek:

Thats why i was asking, i didnt know what u meant by the welds.. Now that i look on my stock header i know what you are talking about. I hope aswell my 300 doesnt have those... but that dont matter i sold it today and the 400ex is on its way ! :blah
