im gonna paint my headpipe(stock) flat black, mainly cus it looks like ****, and im a detail junkie, so yea. wut temp high heat paint should i get? is there a high heat primer i need to use? THANKS.

You almost read the thread huh?

Krylon and Rustoleum both have high temp paint that is up to 1200 degrees. That should be plenty high enough. In fact thats at least twice as high as the motor and exhaust ever should get. I didn't see any high heat primer.

I would just scuff the exhaust up real good, wipe it down to get all the dust and such off, then paint it.

DO NOT use any primer if you can't find a high temp version. The regular primer will burn up and flake the rest of it off.
