i spilled some oil out of my 400ex the other day and it is need of an oil change anyway, but my 400ex is not running and i'm getting it fixed at a place in the next few days. so i need change th oil but i know your supposed to run it before and after but i can't, is it bad to not run it before and after. be cause when i bring it to place there going to start and i don't crappy oil and not enough oil running. help

You dont have to run it before an oil change. In cold weather it drains a little easier if you do but you dont have to. The only reason i run mine afterwards is just to check the level and top it off so next time i go riding its ready to go.
