Well I put my bike on the stand last week to adjust the valves. I went though them and everything looked good so i go to start and no start. So i went back in to make sure everything was good and it was still no start. So i had a friend that works at suzuki come buy to make sure everything was right and he said it was good. Then i checked my comp, and it pulled 10psi so i did a leak down with 20psi and the valves are closed but you can here the oil in the bottom end bubbling. then i pulled the head and all looked good pulled the jug and looked good so i dont know where to go from here. any ideas

10psi of compression is a dead engine!

so! why you can have 10psi? bend valves, or ring failure!

or maybe a REALLY bad head gasket.

do you have a camshaft with decompression system?

if yeah, i think it's only your valves ajustement methode that is bad.

Your decompressor is probably out of adjustment and is letting way too much compression out preventing it from starting.

what year ?

is it modded ?

was it running good before the adjustment or did you adjust the valves because it was acting up ?

does sound like the decomp adjustment so far

still no reason to hate it. I will have to say decompressor as well for 200 jerry. Gotta remember there is only a 0.0008in. you can be off on decomp to be in spec.

Don't hate it because you F'd something up. Adjust the decompression mech and go ride

I dont hate it i just hate it if you know what i mean. I set the decomp to .010 what the book calls for. It is a 06 with a stage 1 cam:(

try setting it with compression tester

do a search, you will find out how
