Has anyone got any feedback on the 2008 model yet? I'm thinking of buying one, but was wondering if all the changes make a noticable difference.

Thanks! :D

i own a '06 and i drove my friends '08 and i didnt notice any difference in power between the two. all i could really notice was the suspension but as soon as i got home i played around with mine for a while and got them just as good as the '08. if you could find a '06 or '07 in really good shape for cheap i would buy that. its not worth spending all the extra money if you can find a used one for cheap thats in mint condition. IMO.

my 06 wouldnt stand a chance against my 08!it comes out of the corners waay harder than my 06 when it was stock.its more comparable to my motor after i added the piston and cams and that but falls short on the topend.

The tranny got updates too in '08......better shifting and longevity.

+1 for the '08

Tried to order a 2008 model here in South Africa, only to be told by Suzuki head office, I can't have one until they sell the 2007 models first (they obviously overstocked).

They say maybe December or else January.

mmm...any ideas!

I have an 06 and an 08 and the 08 without a doubt has more power, its been proven on a dyno over at www.********.com . The suspension is definitely better also. The rear doesnt have that abrubt stiffness to it that the 2006 has. On the dyno the 2008 puts out about 2 HP and about 3 ft lbs of torque more when compared to 06/07. The 06/07 also puts out slightly more power with the 2008 ECU.
